if they done a primal rage cross over it would be pretty lame. but it would be cool if they made a 2.5D mini game we could play for fun. but I much prefer them spending there time on the new MK and a new MK race car game. that was fun as hell! I played it more then the fighting.

if they done another conquest game like the one in armageddon, thatd be killer too! wish we could get more info asap. . I hate waiting for MK!

ok how bout this , what if everyone is taking this Noob.com why outa context? We really wont know anything until the timer is done , about mid day on April 17th pst.
I dont think Midway and Ed Boon will do something as stupid as merging Primal Rage and Mortal Kombat , thats gotta be the most rediculous thing I've ever heard , just have patience and everything will be good... I think they all know they screwed up on the Mortal Kombats after 3 , and maybe they will get it better , more real , not cartoony , I dont think they will let us down cuz I'm sure they read these boards everyday and find out what the consumers want in an MK game....I have confidence.. Do you?

If there was to be a crossover, it might be the first MK game I didn't want/buy.

just look at the pic of Scorpion's timeline above!! the first three look real , the last two look too much like a cartoon , and if they merge Primal Rage and MK , Boon will lose yet another MK fan... I've been dissapointed since MK 5 came out , and havent been happy since , we want real , not fake!!!

Not to rain on your parade, but the reason they look real, is that they are. Actors were used. Now its just motion capture. And I don't know who or what started the primal rage crossover, but thats ridiculous. Why would they even consider it? Though good in its time, primal rage has done nothing since. Plus a bunch of animals would be more like trying to make MK "cute", not darker & grittier.

they did say "Photo Realistic" , the technology is there , they can use real actors and a lil CGI , that would be on point!!!!

I'v been a MK fan since before MK 1 even came out , I use to search fighting games all the time back in 92-93 , you know , when there was Windows 3.1 , there was never any videos because computers didnt have technology like that back then , but we still new about the game , I have one of the First ORIGINAL arcades machines of Mortal Kombat 1... I've been around for quite some time , so you really dont have to tell me there were actors making the first 3 games , I know....

I just want a straight up good MK fighting game with interesting new characters and gloomy arenas.

However, a Deception-esque Konquest would be awesome. I love the ability to run around and do random shit and see things and characters walking around. But I'd also like more than just the ability to punch. Maybe they could have spots where you'd break into a Shaolin Monks/MKA Konquest-like battle. That way they could give old characters a place in the game, sort of like they did with Kia and Jataaka in MKA.

Ya know lads...the monsters in primal rage are like the size of buildings because they are fighting in front of tribal people, a crossover wouldn't make any sense, it will be a demo if anything with the game.

I think everyone is overreacting WAYYYY too much , just like with MKA , too many things were unporeperly expected and wham they got smacked in the face.

Urrrrm. Okay, I posted that if there was to be any crossover, it'd be with Samurai Shodown, and posted this months ago.

Okay, how about this? MK8 is the main game, and a remade 2.5 D version of Primal Rage is included as an unlockable secret mini game? thinking If this is the case, it is obvious Midway wants to give us some really fantastic treats in MK8 to make up for the Kreate-A-Fatality system. laugh

I just noticed something on Noob.com. I don't know if it's been posted but check this out...

When I went to the website, the widget loaded. As it loaded, something flashed really quick. It appeared to have some words on it. I kept reloading the website while pressing the PRTSCR button to capture a screenshot. I found the words, "Note Christmas Countdown." Below is a link to the screenshot.
