at the interview ed boon said they decided to include the dc universe so they could do something new about mk for the first mk game in the current gen consoles.
what about doing a good mk for once?! that would be something new (since mk4 I mean)
Midway is the only publisher/developer which fans are always complaining, wonder why... 
I say no to this game... If a real mk8 ain't reveal, bye bye mortal kombat hello soul calibur IV!!!

A decent MK? Since MK4? Why Deadly Alliance and Deception were decent. They were very well done IMO.
A real MK8 will be revealed.
And hello Soul Calibur 4 no matter what happens.

deadly alliance lacks of characters and the konquest mode...horrible, the same for deception, but about the rest yeah they were an Okay games.

Deadly Alliance re-pumped MK's heart and brought it back to life. If was dying with MK4-G. Deadly Alliance made it live on. It had it's old skool decent fighters, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Quan Chi and brought in some nice new fighters, Li Mei, Frost and Kenshi, not all the fighters were great but the one's that were great made the game awesome.
It's Konquest was quite crap, but it is just a simple tutorial thing anyway, useful to get use to the new fighters or learn the deadly attacks of you favoured old one's.
Now Deception was like Deadly Alliance, only 10 times better. Great old characters, Mileena, Baraka and better some good new characters, Havik and Kira, superb stage fatalities, The Falling Cliffs was one of my favourites. The konquest was great, you got to explore the entire MK Universe, I had always wanted to visit Outworld, MK Deception allowed that, Shujinko was an idiot, but the whole exploration thing made up for that.
It's mini games were great too. Puzzle was OK, but Kombat Chess, that was a genius idea, could even have become a full blown game, featuring every MK character known to man.
Even Armageddon was decent in it's own way. 64 characters, plus one's you can create yourself, an OK Konquest.
If you ask me Midway haven't failed too much, I am sure they will show this in the real MKVIII

I also think this is a very bad idea i think if your going to cross a game or anything with MK it would have to be darker than Dc maybe God Of War that i would have 2 say sounds good cause we all love God Of War.

no.. SF did kill the franchise. They just simply re collected themselves after years of sorrow and decided to 'try' and revive the MK series.

Signed.. even though I doubbt they will do anything.. Ed himself said it. "we were expecting a backlash from fans".. So my question to you ED is.... If you knew it would cause this, why go ahead and kill everything we know... You know, I hope it works out for you "Boon", and your team financially.. Which is why you decided to take this offer OF DC... But me personaly, I wont buy this joke, not now, not after I see other characters, not after it is released, and you know why, Not only because you left your fans down by doing such a thing and promissing us a ferrari and instead giving us a Kia,,, but for also taking the easy way out, because of your lackness of creativity, and efforts. For the fans and regular gamers that are OK with the idea, more power to you, simply because unlike some of us, We've waited long time for change, change that has been promissed, and yet to this day has not seen light.
