I think it's a good idea. A lot of the new Mortal Kombat characters are pretty boring. Plus I'd love to be able to chop Batman's head off.

MK vs Marvel would be better, because Marvel's characters are a lot more serious than DC. Like DC-the Joker, Wonderwoman, the Riddler, Superman, Robin . Marvel-Venom, Carnage, Wolverine, Cyclops,.

Mk set the standard but now they gotta raise the bar a bit to show the world what Midway's made up of.

Exactly. Think about it, a kid about 7 goes and play this game (maybe he likes Spiderman) then he loses and spidermans head gets chopped off with loads of blood squirtin all over the screen. (by Scorpion of course  ) Mixing a kids genre with a violent video game just doesent make sense really.

That kid will be terrified out of their F-N minds(thats a good thing) but maybe some other company can do that for them. I used to love all the unrealistic blood in MK2 (much more than MK1 and MK2 was a great innovation) and in recent games we don't see it as much(except Deadly Alliance with the sword impale).
