I am not getting my hopes up think that Rain could be in MK8 because i will more than likely be dissappointed - but don't get me wrong i think its the worst decision MK have made with their plans for MK8.
hey pepsi since your rains #1 fan, if you have deception and im assume you beat it if you did that one mission for jade when you trick rain into going to that cave to be ambushed by jade how did you feel?

If kung Lao is killed off.....im too!!!!!!New chars sux!!!!i only liked shujinko and kenshi.....my favorite char cant die!!!!nOO!!!!!!Kung Lao is the best!!!I cant belive Boon did this 2 us!!!!It isnt just u.....im destroyed too!!I like almost all original chars of mortal kombat....but....thinkin on the next game makes me get up from the hell,jump and stay my last seconds in the heaven....and so fall again,cause i just dont jump 2 high o_o,but theres 5 hopes:
1, that only the evil guys are killed off
2,the minor objective,but can be considered a hope:Surge new chars with the same abilities,weapons,kind,race,clan,Personally like ur favorite
character,but thats not much a rope
3,The biggest one.All characters alive.They changed their mind.
4,All the next generation mk games has a create-a-character mode,that u can create a character(obvious)just similar or igual ur favorite character.
5,That u like a new character,and leave ur ex-favorite character in Goro's Lair o_o
Extra 6,That luckly 500 or 1000 years have passed and so the 2nd heroes come.example: 3nd Sub zero, 2nd Kung Lao,ect.....
And Extra Comment:Johnny Cage cant die,he's just so funny!

Haven't done that bit yet, i have done Rain's mission where you have to get the Shokan dagger for him, but i am just wondering around at the moment having fights with Smoke and other characters at the moment.
I only got Deception for Xmas so haven't donw too much on it, i been too obsesses with the Puzzle Kombat and normal Kombat.
I only went through the Konquest to begin with to unlock people...now i've done what i wanted i am just messing around with the game.
I feel p*ssed about him dying though, if i can avoid that mission i will

i seriously doubt that the story will completly change, Boon just wants to tie all the loose ends up, we will see the classic characters again, but not all at once Scorpion and Sub Zero would probably and sadly enjoy a short retirement, we do need some new blood in the mix and the story has always been changing, if it does chang it will be for a new champion og Mortal Kombat, so everyone should just relax and if there are no familar faces after Armageddon we will see them after the one after Armageddon, so lets wait.

THAT IS BULLCRAP, they can't kill almost all the characters off. Just continue the friggin story. They can't just wrap every freakin story up in one game. You think Scorpion fans want him to finish Quan Chi in this game or have them duke it out untill the last MK game. This sucks.

What can we do, they have made their mind up, they want as much newness as possiblr in MK8 - which is a major mistake in my opinion.
We will have to wait till MK8 comes out tho to find out whats happeing, maybe they are just teasing us, maybe most characters will be back - who knows?
