Its not the last one...just the last for this series....Then for the next gen. consoles mks most if not all of the mk fighters will be wiped out and be replaced by new ones....

The Interview is in the Game Informer magazine, if you've seen the pic's read the text along with it and you will see Ed Boon says he wants as much NEWNESS in MK8 as possible.
