Game idea involved that loveable undead ninja!!

Its a pretty simple and straight foward idea. A game that explains who Scorpion is. It starts off before he was killed and leads all the way up to the first Mortal Kombat game with most of it taking place in the Neatherrealm gain his undead abilities. He'd have a pretty simple aray of weapon which include a few kunai, his mugai ryu sword (which becomes more powerful in hell), and of course his infamous spear which could be used both a weapon and a mode of transportation. The final boss of course will be Sub-Zero (older). Obviously the genre would be action adventure.
Oh, and just for fun. When you complete the game you can replay it with an alternate costume that shows Scropion's skull in all its flaming glory, plus you get to start with all his powers. Oh, and maybe have some hidden bosses; Noob, Sub-Zero (younger), etc.

awesome. It could be the birthchild of the next Shaolin Monks style game. Although what would it be called and theres really no 'partner' scorpion could have. Id support it a lot. But Lin Kuei Warriors would probably work better cause Subzero's allies in the clan are a plenty. Frost, Cyrax, Sektor, but his 'friend' Smoke. I dunno, Im actually curious to what it says for scorpion's allies in the Deception booklet.
One thing is for sure though, both would be badass.

Well I was actually thinking of more of a single player story based game simular to say Ninja Gaiden or Tenchu but with tones of Mortal Kombat-esque action and violence.

That could work. Yeah in fact we MKers deserve a nice long action adventure single-play game. Besides theres always Lin Kuei Warriors for the co-op.
That would be so cool. Cause we get to play as scorpion. Then he dies like mid-way(haha) through the game then we get to play as the unforgettable undead ninja; and once he dies then he learns all his signature attacks.
Hmmm....now that I think about it. Before he died he probably used his Kata(or Hook thingy), whatever you want to call it. Then when he dies it switches to the spear that comes out of his hand like in the 1st movie. then he learns the teleport, and everything else.
Also once you die you can do the classic Toasty fatality. Maybe by the end of the game you remove your mask for good and you get to run around with the 'alt' look. I just dont know how it would end.
EDIT: I just checked the Deception booklet and he Scorpo doesn't have any allies. But then again Darrius is also neutral. lol. The undead ninja and the pimp warrior.(think darrius' 2nd costume)

kill_the_wookie knows exactly what I'm talking about! As for a ko-op/versus mode thing... not Lin Kuei warriors, just a Scorpion like guy in a red costume who goes by the name ERMAC would do (a sort of tribute to the Error Macro glitch), that is if there really is a need for such a thing.
I'm actually thinking about writing out the story in private. Maybe once I finish I can send it to Midway, get really lucky and not only have the game made but get to voice act in it? ^^ I CAN DREAM CAN'T I!?
