Haha that is a crap idea making a championship and including belts and all that - MK should never be involved with MK - not even mentioned in the same breathe - oops i just done that 
Street Fighter VS MK would be a good game but not tekken etc..

Akuma vs. Scorpion would be bad ass. Akuma is awesome in streetfighter and we all know Scorpion is the best. Scorpion would most likely set him on fire but a martial arts fight would be sweet between them.

Fine. But how would they do it. Sprite based like Street Fighter or 3D like Mk? (May I remind you all of Street fighter the movied vidgame. In comparison, special forces did better LOL)

Link is a playable character on the Gamecube version of Soul Calibur II. The Xbox version had Spawn (which was awesome) and the PS2 version had Heihachi from Tekken. The version with Link sold the most as you can imagine.

no ew..street fighter is horrible...it just wouldnt mix either because one the graphics are completly different,one has fatalities and the other has super combos?..then again you can just add fatlities to streetfighter characters and super combos to MK characters..i think Dead Or Alive and MK would do pretty good..no?

No disrespect to SF characters cuz i luv 'em, but none can match an MK fighter. NONE! In the sf fantasy world maybe, but not in "real" fighting skills and murder tactics...
