The demented raiden was supposed to be in the future, 10,000 years in the future, when Raiden has become an extremist for the safety of the Earthrealm and now hes killing anyone who looks suspcious (like a tyrant). Because of his corruption many warriors from previous games like Younger Sub Zero, Kung Lao, Goro, and some others fight against raiden, the fight between the "Rebels" and between Raiden and the Elder Gods later converts into a Massive war between Good and Evil, Raiden now being ofcourse, Evil. This War eventually causes Raiden to believe all of Earthrealm are against the Earthrealm, so he executes all the civilians, while this genocide is going on in the Earthrealm, the rebels escape and reside in the Netherealm, while staying in the Netherealm, Raiden invades Netherealm in search of the Rebels, after the invasion, the war transforms from Raiden and the Rebels to The Elder Gods and The (Now huge) Rebels. This War causes the End of all the Realms.
