Okay, the word is that you can submit icons in the icon submission thread, however they:
1) Must meet all required criteria
and
2) Must be approved by *both* Midway and DC, so it may take awhile.

I can tell you this much, from my experience working with WB, we won't get them to approve icons unless it's related directly to this game. So for now, the only possibility is Batman as he appears in the artwork we've already seen. Until the rest of the roster is revealed in visual form, we probably won't be getting any new icons or allowing fans to make their own.

I went through and cleaned up the submission thread recently. Just need to find the time to go through the remaining submissions and download them, then upload them to the server, and then add them to the icon database. It's a good 4-5 hours of work, and I need to find the time to sit down and get it done all in one stretch.
