Do you think we should have thread awards? It could help to slow/stop the growing number of boring threads if we give some sort of veneration to threads we feel are worthy, and show which kinds of threads should be avoided. Hopefully, we can avoid thread voting based on the user who created it. Your vote must include the reason it is voted in a certain category, and there will only be a couple of dubious honours.
P.S. I just realized that this is the first poll I've ever created.

I voted no because there's no point in giving awards to threads people think are worthy and good.

That's pretty much the same as saying "I voted no because I just happened to." It doesn't explain why you voted no.

Actually it does because giving awards to good threads is pointless, it also means more work for the mods who could be sorting out spam or flame wars.

1) "Pointless" is too general.
2) It could be something as minuscule as a temporary sticky for winning threads if the mods agree to do anything for this.

Why ask everyone for a reason? When you didn't give a reason why you voted yes(if it was you) and i still think there shouldn't be rewards because it would just make people make topics, but when people run out of ideas they will make stupied topics hoping to get rewards out of it.

Since there aren't that many active users anymore anyways, the next vote decides the winner, or Sheyla says it's not/OK.

Okay. I voted yes. I'm interested in seeing this.

I'd rather give birth to a chair than see an MK vs. DC crossover game. Sorry, but I'm still against MK/DC. I want answers to what happened after MKA instead.

I say no because people will get upset if they don't win and then there will be whining. People will be leaving the forum saying: "You guys suck I shoulda won I'm leaving." I mean if you were to win you would have to have some kind of little trophy symbol or something.

I say what the hell. Why not? At the moment, some people seem more p.o.'d over the difference of opinion on the MK/DC idea anyway.

I vote no. Simply because it is pointless & the fact the it will always be the younger teenagers who flood the boards who either get the awards or cry about not receiving them. Instead of awards, why not a contest held once a month or so for a user to be the only holder of an icon they submit if they win. (yes there would be whining, but it would make some users more unique, especially when theres a crapload of people on near an impending release).
