Can you guys delete someones post from a topic.
Because dhdehhy posted something I dont want in my topic. Now its going to interfere with my topics purpose.

Just delete dhdehhy's alternate opening to my story.
Why do people always post stuff that has no purpose with the topic.

Sorry, but these boards are not exclusively yours and others can feel free to post alternate versions of their postings to your stories. As long as the posting does not violate the guidelines and rules of the forums there is very little that can be done about this.

Actually, the entire topic has to be locked. Fan fiction stories aren't allowed on these boards - there are legal issues with them.

See if you can implement [link=www.fanfiction.net]Fanfiction's[/link]rule on the copyright law. Anything posted on the website is not protected by copyrights.
If you don't allow fan fics, then why do you allow for fake bios? Or did I miss something?

The problem is that fan fictions CAN be seen to violate the copyright laws in the first place. The author doesn't own the characters/setting that they're using, after all. That's why most of the fan fiction you see that is written by experienced writers has a disclaimer at the beginning.
Most companies do not discourage fan fiction at all - mosly, they enjoy it and turn a blind eye and pretend not to see it. HOWEVER, they can't reasonably claim "we didn't know about it" if it's posted on their own website.
And if a company can be proved to have known about a copyright infringment, and they did nothing about it, the courts can decide that they forfeit their copyright protection. At least, that's my understanding. It's a whole big legal mess that we just don't want to have to deal with.
We do have a disclaimer in the rules stating that anything you post here becomes Midway's property..but it's a dicey area. And with the majority of the fan fictions in the past always straying into sex/inappropriate material, causing moderation issues, we decided to just avoid the problem altogether and not allow them.
So..post your fan fiction anywhere you want on the web. But not here.

Loophole:
You post a link to a fanfic you have written and posted on www.fanfiction.net, then prove to the mods/admins it is your fanfic. Technically, it isn't posted on the Midway boards, the link is. This still technically qualifies it under the copyright rules of Fanfiction.net. for example; Random_User posted:
