Is way too short. Why is there a time limit on edits anyway?
Anyways, I think the limit should increased or removed completely. Anyone else?

I think increasing it for the topic starter could be useful. If the topic starter needs to update, it would be best to update the first post instead of constantly posting new updates.
I realize this could also lead to problems though with the starter totally changing the topic after people have responded, making it seem as if everyone is off-topic.

I think 90min is more than adequate edit time. Most of the places I post outside of here either have no edit option or is limited to less than 5min. That way you think about what you're saying before hitting that post button.

Don't forget that the originator is the only person who can lock the thread if there are no mods online.

It's just like dv8 said, think about what you're writing before posting it. And re-read what you wrote to make sure there were no spelling mistakes or anything(if you care about that sort of thing, which most people don't).
And if after you post it you realize that you, for example, wrote "always" with two l's, you can just hit the edit button and fix that problem. Why come back 2 days later and change your post that's so high up, no one's even going to bother reading it?

Actually, I can set edit times to anything I like. However, it's caused major problems in the past to have unlimited edit times. 90 minutes seems to be about right.
