The new Mortal Kombat game coming out for nintendo ds i think should have its own board. I have latley been on other fourms talking about some of my ds games and i think it would be pretty cool if we had a fourm for the game. please post your thoughts

I really don't think we should. Its not going to gather a HUGE amount of hype, and its basically just umk3 combined with a mini game from deception.

not now. mabie if soem big news is going to ba anounced like they add frost and Sareena to UMK3 then they might, but probly there wont be a board

I like your idea Snake, Adding additional 3D characters to 2D is a good idea. Sareena should be there for sure. Meat possibly. Chameleon and Khameleon for sure, Reiko possibly, Kai possibly, and Blaze Possibly. Thats my list

If there could be an additional 8th revised character, I'd say Shinnok or Quan-Chi. One of those two would be fine to me.

I would like to see kahn playable too...thats where Trilogy comes in handy. But I would really like to see added characters in 2D.

IMO Nitara would be a fragile mistake to add in UMK3, her wings would be hard to make, maybe take space up in the cg line of area. Good idea though, I'd like to see here in 2D. Raiden, not for me, he could make it to the Puzzle mini-game though as his good version. This is why I think these characters should be in UMK3 as bonus characters.
Sareena: Always was apart of a 2D story line, she was in 2D I think in Sub-Zero Myths. She could have some sort of backstory with Sub-Zero or Noob-Saibot. I always thought she should have been in the 2D games anyways.
Meat: I know he was originally a fatality skin for all the games, but think this for a moment. He was a failed creation by Tsung. His Backstory is that he was meant to be the ultimate warrior to aid Tsung and Kahn in defeating the earthrealm warriors. But the transformation went wrong in many ways and pleads revenge against Shang Tsung, his creator for horribly disfiguring him.
Chameleon: I always loved Chameleon! He was first spotted in trilogy, though his backstory could be that he hid from all of everyone and finally decides to regain his nature of killing or rather assinating the people on his hit list. He should have originally been in the 2D games as a playable character. (Not just MKT but MK3 and such).
Khameleon: The most mysterious. Her backstory could be that she wants to defend Reptile and confronts him about them being the last of their race only to find out that Chameleon lurks to kill the two on his hit list, Khameleon would have to take a stand and defend herself from him. She should have originally been in the 2D games as a playable character. (Not just MKT but MK3 and such).
Reiko: Crazy, I know. He could have been just a scout for Shao Kahn to lure the earthrealm warriors into a trap. He ends up murdering Motaro for the spot as General, he frames Sareena for the death of Motaro and former General. He then becomes an important asset to MK4.
Kai: Kai could be in UMK3 DS as a student of Kung Lao and a member of the White Lotus. He is enslaved by the forces of Shao Kahn and miracalously Manages to free himself and the sake of other White Lotus members out of harms way. This could lead to key elements for his appearence for MK4 just like Reiko.
Blaze: We all know a firey warrior fighting on Pit 2 with Hornbuckle, Right? This is where he comes in finally! After defeating Hornbuckle, Blaze was held captive by rule of the elder gods. Hornbuckle back then was like the Armageddon Blaze of MK2, different unknown warriors fought on ground until a bolt of lightning struck to reveal Hornbuckle. Every warrior fought his way up the brige to face this warrior. All but one died, Blaze. By defeating Hornbuckle, Blaze then was held captive by the elder gods. The enchantment released into Blazes' body and gave him awestruck power to travel through a time portal the elder gods made. He traveled to this time period (UMK3) by accident. He was told about Armageddon and was to travel to that time, instead it brought him back to the time Shao Kahn was invading Earthrealm. He would try to find his way back to the Time portal.
Shinnok: I always thought that after the end or beginning of Shao Kahn's invasion over Earthrealm, it would be neat to put a story in for Shinnok. His backstory would be that he freed himself from the Neatherrealm using the amulet (the Kamidogu'sfirt appearence). After doing this, he desired to flee from Earthrealm which his escape brouth him to. But it wasn't until Shao Kahn heard of his escape. Shinnok's escape to Outworld would be harder than he thought as he was on Shao Kahn's Wanted list. This could be a key event for his arrival in Outworld in MK4.
Anyways thats why I think these 8 should be added. I mean, look at Unchained, they added bonus character?!?! Why not do the same for UMK3 DS?!?!

i agree! MKD mini game and UMK3 arcade version! we already have the MKD to talk about the mini game And "MK GAMES DISCUSSION" to talk about the other MK games
