Anyway i loved to write stories when i first got here and several of my friends on here liked them a whole lot.Then rpg's got banned but now they have their own forum. So how about an mk fan fic forum

Fanfics can still pertain to the board they are related to though can't they? like a armageddon bio can still go on the armageddon board right?

Wikipedia entry on copyright law on fan fiction
This link does a pretty good job of detailing the pros/cons of companies allowing fan fiction.
My basic premise on disallowing is that I don't want to have to deal with Midway's lawyers to come up with all the rules that would have to hem us in - and it's very likely that they'd say "No, you can't do that!!!" anyway. So if I eventually decide to work it out with them, and they agree to it, we might allow it. But for now, it's FAR more headache than I want to go through.
