Happy feet pc game problem

Hi there.
I have a serious problem with my happy feet pc game. When i was installing it everithig seems to bee ok but after i start it after pressing launch button there only apear a blank screen with mouse cursor and that is all.
Can smb help me?

Anyways if your having a probelm with the game, here are my suggestions.
1.Clean the disc with alcohol
2.reinstall the game.
3.restart your whole PC.

Yes, I am having the EXACT problem. I don't know why. I'm using the sampler though, which I got as a bonus when I bought the DVD at Wal-Mart. None the less, there isn't a problem with the disc, because the sampler can be played without it. I don't understand why this game won't work. My computer basically will swallow anything you throw at it, especially next gen games. Can anyone help me fix this?

Oh wait, I got it. Disable your firewall. If that doesn't work, check the consumer service, where they tell you how to do a clean boot.

Sounds kind of like a video error. Is direct x and such working? try another 3d game to see if its the computer or the disc.
