this may or may not have been suggested before (it probably has) but who thinks it would be cool to have some theme options for the boards?

Like different colors and layouts? I've seen that at other places. It's not bad.

If it would raise prices, then there's really not a need for it.

I have that on my boards, but its sort of a hassle to get them on so I didnt get that many.
New board colors would be kinda cool though.

It would be possible with current board tech, it just depends on a couple of small things. It would simply be alterations to colors/fonts/sizes and more for accessibility issues than pure vanity. Would have to add some transparency to the banner images too so it all blends nicely. Maybe someday it could happen.

i didnt say i didnt like them. i was only suggesting an idea. if they ever did make choosable themes, im sure the place would still have its 'edge'.

I think it's a great idea. You could model certain layout to certain MK characters, or Blitz team colors. And other sutff =^.^= (incomplete sentence)
