The only reason i joined Renegade was because of the RPGs.I would've never joined if they weren't there and If Nave wasn't there.

Midway has stated repeatedly that they do not want an off-topic forum. I do allow a few off-topic threads in the interest of community-spirit, but they are carefully watched, and always are at least peripherally related to the board users, and are not just random chat spam.
I don't see this changing anytime soon.

I think a misc board would be great for the midway boards. It would cut down the spam people post (including myself  ) and a lot of people would enjoy it. I am sure there would also be a few less bans (including myself again *sigh*) It would be a fun board where all of those off topic threads would go. I know the easy response is "There is many other places in the vast internet to discuss your religious and political views" but I love the community here, and would love to chat with them about other things not pertaining to Mortal Kombat or anything else such as that. Also all of those threads such as the community pictures, and the introduce yourself threads could go there. So in conclusion I believe a Misc board would be a great addition, amusement, and problem solver. 
It's a good idea, as long as it doesn't turn into the vile hellhole that IMDB's miscellaneous board called the Sandbox is. Actually, that whole site sucks, but that part of IMDB sucks the most.

Misc. Board = bad. Waaaaay to many immature members and n00bs what would spam it up. It'd be impossible to have a normal conversation there.
