I think we should have a post limit per day, as this will reduce spam by LOTS as people would want to use their posts effectivley instead of just wasting them in stupid topics or spamming

Actually, I think not.
If we have a limit, say 50 posts a day, then everyone would want to purposely spam their way to reach that number. And if someone has already posted the maximum amount of posts, and finds a thread he/she wants to reply to, he/she won't be able to.
Not to mention all the complaining if it DOES happen...

Not really.
Since the board isn't what it used to be and not nearly as active. Putting a post limit will cripple the board completely, do you want to do that?

I think that certain members should have a post limit. Like if a person repeatedly posts spam over and over all day, they should have a limit. If the problem persists, ban them.

Technically, there is one. With the 1 post per minute rule, a user may theoretically post 1440 times in one day.

i voted no. its best to just leave it at the one post per minute rule. post limits would only kill the board cos members here want to post in different topics and you would find that you fill you count very quickly
