How do you quote people?

I asked this question when I first joined these boards. The question remains unanswered. I'd like to know how to quote anyone's post, not just the person above your post. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Kk, but then what do you do? Am I wrong, but doesn't it only show the post above you? I don't know how to quote anyone on the thread I'm posting on.

Just push the quote button on the post you want to quote. You don't need to push the button on the last reply in the thread - you can push it on any post in the thread.
