About the smiley faces

I remember before, you could do a maximum of 5 of each "smiley face" in every post, which prevents a person from posting millions of them in a single post.
I remember, that when you post more than 5 of the same face, the sixth one(and forward) doesn't show up. It just says [face_"something"](depending on what face you picked)
Now i'm wondering why this was removed, and why you can post unlimited amounts of smiley faces in one post? It is really disturbing, and i hope it can be fixed, so it prevents people to do things like THIS.(Check out rhinox post)

He means because some noobs often put lots of smilies in one post and there used to be a limit, and i agree if they put this back then it would probably prevent noobs from annoying ppl and ruining threads etc.
