I'm not here long so techinically I'm a "N00b" but whatever. I'm certainly not a n00b to the world of forums or the internet.
This forum doesn't seem to have enough mods and/or the mods aren't doing their job properly.
So many topics are repeated again and again, I must have seen 10 "How do I beat reptile/ how do I find reptile" threads because people don't read other topics. These topics are never closed or deleted.
Then there are topics in the MK boards that aren't about the game the boards are for. There probably should be a MK general board but as there isn't they belong in the General Section. There never seems to be many people that have been here for a long time. And I think it's logical to conclude that's because the get sick of the above and more.
The reason I'm posting this and not just going to post MKO all the time is because the posters here do actually seem to be friendly and I'm not a "one forum" type of guy. But there are some serious problems.
If there are any Mod postitons open, I'd like to apply, but then again, I'm just a n00b.

The reasons you've listed are the reason I've basically all but stopped posting here. This is only my 2nd post here in the last two or three weeks. I've been here since when the forums went up, but I could only take so much of all the spam and unmoderated forums.
I know Sheyla and Shankdaddy are doing what they can with it being a new forum, but I think they need more help and to start being a little less leniant.

I must agree that some of the topics being posted do tend to make me distant from the forums, mostly because they are so repetitive and whatnot. I'm really tired of the polls that are like "Do you guys like me..." and whatnot. I think that the forums were better without polls actually...or I think that they should be made for actual interest in numbers and statisitcs. Like how many girls play Vs. how many guys play. Or what what age groups play so that we know the real audience that the mortal kombat series is bringing into the genre.
I think that Sheyla and Shankdaddy are doing a great job...but there are some noticable corrections that need to be made.

You'd want to have a pretty big PM box if I was going to do that. Even though what you've said basically indicates that nothing will be done about it. At least you read/looked at the topic.
