Online Playing.Quiters and More

This forum is for issues regarding online play and behaiviors. One isse I have is there are soo many quiters! But they complain there isnt anyone to play? That doesnt make any sense.Then you have the spin attack dancing kings who only do spin or barrage and rocket launchers hogs, then claim they are skilled? My opinion is they have no skill. This gane takes skill and timing and strategy,it isnt just about pushing the down button and winning.What are your opinions on that?

Well it does take a certain amount of skill to build up the meter enough to do a barrage or spin attack. The tools are there to be used, right?

Maybe a little skill to get the cranes,but I say you have absolutely no skill if ALL you use is barrage,spin and rocket launchers.  It takes more skill and strategy to use the shotgun and pistols. Also that doesnt explain about all the cry babies  and quiters there are out there in Stranglehold,they join your room,then after you kill them once or twice they quit!
Ther are some really great players who climb the rank with real skill,but there are some who don't belong in the high ranks cause all they do is play cheap quikie matches against newbs,then claim they are skilled,ugh!lame.

some where this game in single player on the hardest diff. should though in random ai with rockets to train people how to dodge them. my opinion.

I am know there are players who can dodge some rocket launcher and spin attacks,and even barrage,I am mostly saying that if you ONLY use these moves OVER and OVER,like the spin attack dancing kings,where thats All they do,(they dont use anything else),these players have no skill.

but the fact that they have no skill should mean people can predict what to do next and own them. like snipe them near the spawn zone or pluck them off. i mean this game can't be that unbalance if it was then it would be mka with bullet time

I am not saying it is unbalanced,this is one of the best games out there. I love this game!I am saying there are soooo many quiters,when you kill them once or twice they quit,and you have those that only use specific moves,and say they are skilled. I know there are excellent players out there who can own a room without barrage and spin,or golden pistols,and launchers.But it bugs me that peole who dont have skill can climb the rank boards by owning newbies,instead of playing against the best. Oh and you have one paticualr guy who if you play him,and beat him,he will never allow you in his rooms anymore,he only plays noobs.
If you only use launchers or spin or barrage and no other moves,then they are not very skilled my friend.,especially the spin attack kings.

Seriously, welcome to the wonders of online gaming. It's just a fact that there are always going to be people that will do anything to get wins, and there are always going to be people that care about their win ratio so much that they quit whenever they are losing. It's just how it is. Yes, those people suck, but they don't have to ruin the whole experience for you if you don't let them.

Yes I agree on that,I personally don't care for the Halo crwod,sorry but they are so ego filled it's pathetic.But yes,I love the online for Stranglehold,despite the ones who do all what I said they do,you know the ones who'll do anything to climb the ranks.I just wish there weren't so many quiters,and whiners,I mean sometimes you are going to play againsnt some really great players,that's no reason to quit a match or call people names,or acuse them of cheating,or hacking,there is no such thing for this game.

and besides midway gamers are in fact immature i mean look around here and specially in Armageddon subforums.

yup,they way they play is laughable  ,but I think Midway should have made they way you climb rank,based on your total score of kills,losses,wins,true skill etc.
and there should have been a way to shut off certain weapons on your baord,you know being able to choose want weapons you want in your room(as a host).
as for that humping stuff,that belongs in Halo rooms.

uhh humping stuff started way back in ...quake/unreal era and midway isn't bungie where they care about the games they make they just ship and watch.

wel,whereever it started,oh well,but I have seen alot of Halo players do this.It's sick. 
I am also happy to say there are nice people playing Stranglehold as well without the name calling ,and quiting(even though they are losing).You can make some decent friends,too bad there aren't more players like that. I guess some people really need to be obnoxious to inflate their ego,I mean it IS a game,not real life,playing a really good game doesn't make you a man.
