Midway today announced a downloadable map pack for the acclaimed 3rd person action adventure title, Stranglehold, for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 video game systems. The map pack features 10 additional multiplayer maps ranging from the Kowloon Market to Wong's Estate Grounds to the Rooftops of Chicago, as well as 21 all-new multiplayer character skins. The Xbox 360 version will include 10 new achievements worth 250 points. Rated "M" for mature by the ESRB, the Stranglehold downloadable map pack will be available soon in North America via the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE.

That sounds awesome for those of us who have the PC version. I'm not that greedy anyway. I'd settle for responsive technical support and patch or two to get it playable.

IGN just put the official trailer up on their website and it says "Available NOW!!" I just checked the PS Store and I didnt see it. So would us PS3 users have to wait until the next PS Store update to get this?
Also, what's the word on cost? I'm not online that often but if it's not too expensive I'll probably grab it anyway.
EDIT: Actually since the original online component was a little lacking I dont think it would be fair to make us pay to finally round the thing out.

The pack is out for 360 but I don't think it is available for PS3 quite yet. It will be soon though. You can get for 360 for 1200 MS points which equates to $15.

Why do the achievements only show up after the map pack has been downloaded? Microsoft said they had to be free.

I can see the achievements on my list though they're still locked. If you notice, most of the new achievements are only attainable on the new maps. Like "Get an explosive kill in Kowloon Marketplace" and so on.

Wow, a multiplayer map pack. It would be awesome if anyone was still playing online!!!!
Add bots for offline play and I will purchase the pack in a heartbeat!!!
