PC version issues

First, I would like to apologize for my english, since I'm not american.
I would like to congratulate Midway for the great game, as I played it in my friend's house and this game is amazing. However, in my own PC I'm experiencing some issues. Every time i try to run the game it prompts me a message with the following error:
"ERROR: Cannot initialize OLE"
Anyhow, the game seems to start and work so far as I start a "New Game" Then, it simply freezes on the loading screen, sometimes changing to pitch black. I've tried every solution that the game FAQ suggested, and I still have the problem.
My system specs are:
Windows XP SP2
AMD Athlon 64 +3500 Processor
1GB Corsair RAM
7800GT Nvidia Graphic Card
Anyone has any suggestion? Is 2GB of ram required?

From what I've seen, some people have been able to get the game to work with 1 or 1.5 GB of RAM, but those people are few and far between.
Most of the people with the same problem you are describing say that once they get 2GB of RAM, the game runs smoothly.

Yeah but does that mean the game will only work on 2GB of ram, I got the game running and played it for a few mins before the blank screen come on, even with 1GB of ram it was very smooth.

Just some feedback... I've upgraded to 2GB and the game is running smoothly.

Hello
my problem
resolution can't get higer then 800 X 600
my system
2X nvidia 8800 GTS
4 GB Ram
830 GB hdd
amd athlon 64 X2 3800+ with dual core timing prog installed.
always get the problem that the resolution can't be set higer then 800 x 600
anyone has a suggestion ???????
it sux to play game on 800 X 600

Ok, made it all the way to Mega Restaurant then close the game. Restart it later and "No Saved Game Data"!!!!! Before this had to replay the first level several times to because of the same error. WTF?!?! After a checkpoint it doesnt seem to be recordign the save point info. Im about done with this. Shame because I like the game.
