I been wanting this game for months and now that I have it I cannot play it!
The game locks on me. I am so annoyed at this point. I hoped my first post would be how awesome the game is. Well I can't do that now.
Well here is what happened.
I load the game. I can navigate the menu area. I wanted to adjust the video settings but there didn't seem to be any for video other than the resolution. 
Oh well, anyway I decide to start a new game. I click new game. It goes to the loading screen and sits there. I open task manager and see that my dual core is pegged at 100%. I let it sit for about 5 minutes and nothing is happening. The mouse will move but nothing else. I have to hard boot the pc and try again. Same thing another lock. I tried it one more time and you guessed it another lock.
I went to the support and sent them what was happening but am not expecting a answer for a day or so.
I am going to uninstall it from my main desktop pc and try it on my laptop.
Is anyone else having problems with the PC version?
BTW my desktop pc specs:
E6600
2GB RAM
8800GTS 640MB Ram.

I bought the game myself today and it is sad to say that I think we are going to have to wait for a patch from either nvidia or midway. I found out that everytime I shoot a watermelon, the game completely crashes and I am forced to do a hard reboot. Everything else works fine but the problem with my watermelon problem is that after the first 5 minutes or so of the game - one of the cutscenes has the enemy shooting the watermelon - making it impossible for me to advance any further in the game!
Hopefully a quick fix in the config will work...otherwise I have to run around the beginning of the level without shooting the watermelons.

Wow. A cut scene locks it. That sucks, at least though you made it that far! I am trying the install on my laptop that is slower than my desktop. Here is to a patch!

is there a way to config it so u can get higher graphics or do u stay at this crappy 1280x820 resolution and medium/low graphics? nothing in video settings upgrades the look atm.

I just cleared the drug labs and only one crash but my cpu was on the warm side.LOL i was pissed cause i only had an opteron single core and a 6800 ultra card.i do have 2 gig of ram but so far so good for me:)

I installed on my laptop and it works. Choppy but it works. There are some graphics issues when text is on the screen, the text is smeared is the best word I have for it.
Also I was able to go up to max resolution (1920x1200) but it was way to choppy to play.
I will uninstall here and then reinstall on my desktop and make sure I have the newest drivers for my 8800GTS.
From playing about 10 minutes it seemed to be fun but for some reason when I hit the f key to pick up weapons laying around I could not get it. Sounds like the learning curve rather than any game issue.
I hope Midway support will point me in the correct direction. Maybe reinstalling the game on the desktop with work.
Oh well time to uninstall and go to bed.

I fixed my problem. I had a non-WHQL video driver that has worked perfectly with other games but this one. I downloaded the newest from Nvidia and it works now!
