And yet, not a single official or moderator response, how vile.
I will not support a company that does not support its costumers, If a patch will not be released to make this demo PLAYABLE before the pc version is out, I will probably pirate it, seeing as I anyway cant expect the full game to work properly and if it wont, I defiantly cant expect any support from their side.

Sorry, we mods aren't able to help with any technical issues beyond our own personal experiences like yourself. It's best you visit support.midway.com to see if you can find a solution or open up a dialog with one of the tech support folks.

anybody saw the stranglehold ad on ign.com??? hahaha
it says that the game is available on X360 and on PS3 and it says "try the PS3 demo" , and there is no PC logo anywere ... so if midway wanted to make clear that the dont poop ing care about the pc version...man ,good job!
and about the demo, well, i was thinking that if they dont release the patch for the demo before the release date is because they dont want you to buy the game, i mean if they cant make a demo run , well, the game wont run either , so for me its like they re making fun of us... and they think that we will buy the game anyway if we wait so long for the demo and we endure their poop till this time...if i cant buy the game today , the release date , i will not buy it, period.

So, instead of collectively and conveniently adressing their potential customer base through these forums and engaging in a dialogue that may shed some light on the situation, Midway decides to let every single person with problems beg individually for some information about the issues? Talk about bad public relations. They really should fire their managment consultant, as they are doing exactly the wrong thing in this situation, which costs them product sales by the minute. You know the saying "Every publicity is good publicity"? Well, they lied...

Yea, does not work on ANY of our systems, all similar to many other problems/symptons listed in this thread.
Not a real good begining if the Demo won't even work.
Cheers

But surely you must relise that is the normal routine nowdays? You are flogging a dead horse.
The gaming industry particularly for PCs is a joke, despite their course of self destruction they still worry about piracy, blaming that for their woes, Instead of focusing on customer satisfaction, only 1 word to describe that - DISGRACEFULL.
Cheers

Thanks Cinder for putting the actual Midway support link for the Minimum Requirements.I listed them on many sites and some people argued that the requirements where much lower.Read em and weep people if you don't meet em don't try to run the demo, and spend the big bucks for the game.

Doesn't change the fact that there are still a huge number of people who meet the official system requirements, many who exceed them, who are not able to run the game (ie without crashes, black screens, bsod, etc).
Discounting everyone having problems with the game as simply "not meeting the requirements" as everyone seems eager to do, doesn't help anybody.
There are real problems, compatibility problems, with the game's code, this has nothing to do with user systems other than that this crappy port will not work with them.
Gamespot noted in their review that they ran into the exact same problems on some of their test machines.

I guess spamming those links won't do any good. So just give up already.
