guys

there's nothing wrong with your computers.

this is sh---ty code by Midway.

for me, This is the only unreal engine3 game that crashes on loading.

It causes the nvidia driver to execute an infinite loop...... which can either cause your monitor to turn off or go into standby, or you can get a BSOD, or it can cause your graphics card to keep spinning up and down.

this Piece of sh-- bug.

my rig is Athlon 3200+, 7600gt, asus a8n-sli, 1gb pc3200.
it should run on this setup.

The reason the game won't run is because people with 1 of 1.5 gigs of ram like myself.
Simply this isn't enough ram you need 2 gig as minimum to run the game and demo.
Although confirmation by midway would be a start.

Why does everybody explain their problems? WTF, Readers want solutions, not problems. We know the problem, even since the first post.

And ppl, please stop talking about Memory, its obvious that you dont know what your talking about, its not the memory, Its the game!

I´m afraid that Midway goes for the same quality as ATARI, nothing ever works...
Stop dreaming and get real - this game will never work properly...

!!!MIDWAY [mod edit: profanity] FREAKS!!!

They are not absolutely interested by people that have problems with this [mod edit: profanity] demo. Whole internet yells about this [mod edit: profanity] problem, but it does not even fluster them. I will never buy any midway game.
...[mod edit: profanity]

Yes, don't need to reply like that...sure. But guess what. I'm (or was) a big fan of this game too, watched every movie, and it's very f*ing disappointing that people who has nvidia cards can't play 2 mins without crashing, or black screen, etc. My mates with ATI cards doesnt expect this problem. Nice:P

Midway! Would you mind??? Just patch or give us some bug-fixed *.dll so we can try this too with nvidia cards!?
If not, its shame on you, shame on your whole company. Atari doesn't need a flamed little brother...or does it?

Just so everybody knows, it's not a problem with the minimum system requirements, RAM or otherwise... I just got a new beast computer, and it still locks up right after the loading/key controls screen.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz (1066MHz FSB) (8MB Cache)
4GB DDR2 Corsair at 800MHz XMS2 (Dual Channel)
Western Digital (16MB Cache) (7200 RPM) (SATA)
nVidia GeForce 8800ULTRA 768MB
Windows XP/Service Pack 2

I tried the Bioshock beta drivers, where the screen went black after the loading screen, then the latest stable drivers, and now I get a rendering error. Thank God this is only a free, 2GB game, and not a full priced, heavily marketed, $50 game with a big name director and movie star attached.

...wait, what? (sarcasm)
