Which do you think i should get? I can't decide so i want other peoples opinions. I have played the PS3 demo and it was ok i hated the gfx(to many jags) and the gun sound are terrible. I haven't played the PC demo yet(taking to long to download)I still hear its not that great. BTW my PC has no sound:( need speakers. So what do you think?
Computer specs:

WD Caviar 160GB SATA
Comdo CD Drive
Hanns G 19'' Widescreen Monitor (JW199D
OCZ Stealthxstream 600
Windows XP Home Edition
Hope my PC can handle it.:)

Get PS3 version, sound > no sound.

You should go for the PS3. On a PC if a game works good, if it doesn't...you'll go through hell trying to get it to work and possible still fail. You get lest of a headache with console titles.

PS3, unless you have a Gaming Computer or a super high tech Computer it will slow it down like cheese in cave.

Granted, it doesn't work for some people. This could be based on a variety of factors though. As for me, I have the game running fine on two very different machines. One is a P4 3.0Ghz, 2GB RAM, 7800GS 256MB system. The other is quite a bit more powerful with a Core2Quad 2.4Ghz, 4GB RAM, and 8800GTS 320MB.
In Reply To Topic: I picked the PC version because I do not own a PS3 (or Xbox 360 for that matter).

I would say try the PC demo out first, see if it runs decently or doesn't crash at least. It's a safer bet to go with the consoles at this point; as a previous poster stated, less headache. But "Stranglehold" feels so much better on a mouse and keyboard setup IMHO.

360.
But if you MUST get it for PC or PS3, I would get it for PS3 if you don't have sound on your PC. That's kind of a no brainer, isn't it?

RE: PC or PS3 version?

reasons why i personally like the pc versions of any fps/tps is mainly
1. the controlls like the mouse cant be beat
2. you dont have to hit any kind of combo keys to get 1 manuver off
3. less ergonamic joystick make your hands hurt after awhile
4. i can watch tv at the same time
5. the way they incooperate the auto-aim to use with the joysticks in most games really dulls the game for me and reminds me of aimbots.
but if i did buy a ps3 i would most likely want to expand my library and Stranglehold would be in it.
just rent/demo them both and see which one you like the best.
