Hi Guys,
I just downloaded the demo. But now I can't get it to work. After installing and stuff I started it und every try when it comes to the end of the video sequence, my whole system restarts - I think for a short blink theres a blue screen.
Now, I cannot tell where this comes from. My system is running totally stable. Games like CMR Dirt, Bioshock, CS Source, Enemy Territory - Quake Wars and so on are all running without an issue.
Someone can help?
My Sys:
Windows XP pro SP2
Athlon64 3500+ Venice
2x512MB SD-DDR400 CL2,5
Abit AN8 Ultra NF4Ultra
Geforce 8800GTS 320MB Forceware 163.44

First off, do this:
Right click My Computer icon on dektop, and select properties.
Select Advanced tab.
Click Settings in the Startup and Recovery group box.
Uncheck Automatically Restart in the System Failure group box.
OK, OK.
This will let you see the BSOD.
We can go from there.

Whichever one is newer.
My abit mobo hasnt been updated since last year, and I have been using the nvidia mobo drivers without issue.
Just make sure you dl the correct ones from nv site, as sometimes it gets confusing.

Concesus on the web is that this is usually caused by a faulty install/uninstall of the nvidia drivers.
try uninstalling just the nvidia video driver, through add/remove programs), and download 'driver cleaner' (probably do this before uninstall), then boot into safe mode, and run driver cleaner, then boot regular windows and re-install video drivers.

... at least its good to know that its not some defective hardware in my system. Maybe there'll be a froceware beta soon. Like it was with Bioshock.

Hmmmmm.
I just finished the demo.
I had no issues whatsoever with it.
Sorry what I suggested didnt help.
Maybe a re-download would help?

If several people get the lock-ups, black screens, etc, it doesn't mean that WE have a problem. It means the DEVELOPERS messed up. A fix should be forthcoming. No wonder it's getting delayed all the time, the PS3 version suffers from other issues as well.
