Ok, 2GB worth of a demo to download.
YOU CAN'T CHANGE THE SCREEN RESOLUTION? And when you exit the demo, they play a 2+ minute log exit video highlighting the retail game - which you cannot bypass (have to wait over 2 minutes for the demo to "exit".) I cannot believe Midway released this now when it is clearly a demo not worthy of being delayed for so long!
I am just p.o'ed because it took this long to release a PC demo and this is what I get - I can't even scale the resolution to fit my 24" LCD! Absolutely ridiculous!

WTF? You can't change the resolution?
My download hasn't finished yet, need to check it soon. How about controls? Does it allow to inverse the mouse or to change the controls?

I have tried editing the coalesc.ini file to change screen resolution -
It seems to be locked at 1024x768! WTF, this is so bulldoody, I'm going to just delete the adverstisement folder so that I can actually exit the game without waiting 2.5+ minutes - watching the stupid retail highlight videos (forced to watch them btw - no way to exit - except to alt-tab and kill the retail-stranglehold.exe process)
YOU CANNOT CHANGE THE SCREEN RESOLUTION - IT'S CRAPPING HORRIBLE! What a lame DEMO!
PS - you cannot change controls either - This is just pissing me off - waiting a month since the 360 demo now the PC demo is just absolutely BAD! (because I am playing in a mini 1024x768 res. on my 24" lcd).
EDIT: I just looked at the 24" lcd menu - it shows resolution at 1024x768 - sorry, I wrote previously 640x480 which is incorrect - but still, it's a crappy demo for sure.

Such arseholes! What a crappy port, these fools. Tried it myself and you can't change the resolution. Two gigs of crap in 640x480. What do they think we pc users are?

That not being able to change controls might be a deal breaker for me if this happens in the release game.
Not everybody plays with the wasd layout.
Edit:
Let us know if the " I'm going to just delete the adverstisement folder so that I can actually exit the game without waiting 2.5+ minutes" deleting thing works.
I am still 20% into the dl. Thanx.

Ok, tried to edit the coalesc.ini file and it crashes the game when you alter and save that file. No luck in making the screen res. higher than 1024x768 (which is even gheyer than on the 360's 1280x720p!
PC gamers these days are getting shafted because it's just an outright slap in the face for owning top end hardware to play these games. Not only did I have to wait over a month since their initial 8/28 release date (and lack of demo then), now after so long and no news, this pc demo pops up which is really nothing more than a highlight reel of the retail game (2GB!!!) - it's more than the Multiplayer Crysis demo (~1.3gb).
I guess it's all because of the stupid videos they force you to watch when you try to exit the demo. Outrageous!
You guys can try to hack the other .ini files to see if you can change your control mappings - I can't do it without crashing the game on startup!

Hi there!
I just registered. I'm sick and tired of publishers screwing the pc users over. And when the consoles got outdated they come crawling back to our feet.. greedy sons of b******..
Anyway, since this is the Unreal Engine 3, maybe this will help you out:
With Medal of Honor Airborne you can open the console by adding this line to your shortcut:
-enableconsole
Open with "^" (for germans it's "ö")
And here you can find some commands that'll probably work with all the games using the engine. At least some will:

I didn't check all the commands, maybe you gotta search for yourself to find the res-command.
Hope this helps a little. I will download the demo later, so I don't know if it works at all, but since Airborne did I think it will.
Edit: changed the link, now there's more commands but I still didn't check them all.

Can you make fake files of the ads, and place them in the adv folder?
Just name a text file (empty) the same name as the ad files. (move the orig files somewhere just in case it doesnt work)
See if that works.

controls-
You cannot change the keyboard mappings IN THE DEMO. You can invert up/down, and invert left/right however.
You cannot' change screen resolution period. Stuck at stupid 1024x768 on my 8800GTX!
You cannot bypass the 2+ minute highlight video when you exit the game. I have to alt-tab, then kill retail-stranglehold.exe process to get out - drives me mad watching the stupid videos! Renaming the advertisement folder does nothing (perhaps I'm not looking at the right folder(s))
The demo is just not enjoyable - at least not on my LCD - it's scaled down to 1024x768 for christ sakes and this demo weighs in at 2GB! Absolutely retarded!
I'm very sure now PC gamers are going to bypass this game and go straight to crysis - What good is a demo when you can't test it on your own game rig at the proper resolutions?!! This game is after all using UE3 engine! Even bioshock demo allowed screen resolution mods!
Going to delete this pile of junk now!

hmmm....still waiting for the full-version...perhaps this is the poop ...we´ll see
but...hmm only swearin on midway isnt the real poop ...i already have ordered the fullversion...i will make a review if i played it enough...soo calm down guys...perhaps the devs dont got a chance to finish the demo....because of our pressure...who knows? i think teh full-game will be better

Do you still live in the 90's or do your company's employs not play pc games at higher resolutions than that ?
If this is true i guees we been lied to about it was not a console port..
I knew it that there would be problems with the pc version since it has been so long under way.
No wonder why we never saw any pc screenshots or videos...
And yeah it's not fun being a pc player right now and own a 8800 nvidea geforce card and a top end dual processor.. 
Pc games is dying!!! Midway why are you doing this ?
Now there is only crysis left to prove that pc gaming is stll alive and the best graphics, if this game also fails on high end pc's it's over for sure i'm afraid
