Due to your continual nonsensical business practices and your total blatant disrespect shown towards PC gamers, you are alienating a lot of people which is only going to effect your sales of this title.
This is now at the point of absurd and those at Midway need to start listening to the public, because without the public, they'd be selling no games.
This game was supposedly primarily developed for PC, yet now there is yet another delay, this time by an entire month, the release date now Sept. 30th for the PC version.
You are losing your customer base and I have personally seen a great number of people who have now not only lost complete interest in the game, but are now essentially refusing to buy it even when released, due to the treatment of PC gamers as "second-rate" consumers.
For a game that was "primarily developed" (your words in countless interviews and public statements) for the PC, there is absolutely no reason why, of all platforms, the PC version should be delayed the longest. It's also the reason why a demo should have already been released for PC, so this whole situation is contradictory and makes no sense.
If it is going to be delayed, the company needs to stop giving release dates then, only days before, once again pushing the game back, this time by another almost four weeks.
All the more reason that even the lack of a demo for this supposed "AAA" title not being given to PC gamers is absolutely ridiculous. No matter what "extra" things you may have in store for the PC demo, the game itself should already be hitting shelves in the next week, therefore your "extras" do not "make up" for your completely disregard for the PC gamer.
At this point, you could release the demo today, and still not "win back" those who now have turned away from your company and this release, due to your flip-flopping and blatant disrespect for PC gamers, especially.
Your business practices, ethics and completely contradictory statements vs actions is doing more harm than you realize in this situation, and someone needs to pay attention to the public.
We're not all "ranting teenagers", and irregardless of anyone's age, this is completely unacceptable.
A developer/publisher who does not pay attention to the court of public opinion only does itself harm, and you need to be "stepping-up" to address these issues and, perhaps more importantly, back up your words with actions by giving the PC gamer something that is long over-due.
Keeping in mind also this: PC gamers spend a lot more money building gaming rigs than people who buy consoles. A high-end GPU costs more than a console and all of it's accessories combined. So when you have a fan/consumer base that spends that kind of money to purchase and play the games that you release, if anything, PC gamers are first-rate, and should not be treated as second-rate, because we put a lot more money, time and effort into building gaming rigs than those who fork-out just a few hundred dollars on consoles.
Maybe if you cared a bit more about what the public feels and has to say, which any company would for it's own sales and reputation at the least, a bit more effort would be put forth in getting things done and done properly.
Enough is enough, and I hope someone from Midway pays close attention to this post and takes a look around, because you're creating a very negative situation for yourselves and PC gamers more than apparently you're either aware of or care about.
I'm in my mid-thirties, run my own business working in the music industry and have been a hardcore gamer my entire life. So, I know of the things I speak in this post.
If you've a shred of respect for your own company and your consumers, you'd better step-up and pay attention because, at this point, you're creating a bad situation all-around.

Dahm is this true ? 30th september now  i gotta stop coming here and care for this game i have been looking forward too for 2 years now.
Let's all accept that there is no stranglehold coming for pc, i myself don't believe in it anymore.
And last i say it for the 3rd time >> duke nukem forever.

The delay is only for the PC version from what I've read.

I do not understand all, but it is not true step deferred into xbox360 too? it was confirmed for September 7 in Europe however by midway! it was advanced of September 13 one moment ago. Oh no no, not that please.

I really don't mind the delay that much anymore. It has become something sooo big in the games industry to push the releasedates further and further that it really does not shock me anymore.
The game is still gonna kick ass when it comes out and I don't blame Midway at all for the releasedate pushing.
