The mods here are volunteers, except for me. And the developers don't talk to us except when they have info they need disseminated. Or we pester something out of someone.
We can ask them all we want, but until they want us to know something, they won't tell us. We give you info as we get it, and as they approve it and verify it.
If you'd rather, though, we could make up something. I get the feeling some of you would rather have that. The conspiracy theories here are running wild!
Geez, just look at poor Echo when she got ONE bit of information wrong (or it changed after she told you guys, I don't know what actually happened there). Crucified on the fan sites and on the forums. If I was her, I wouldn't want to try to find stuff out or release anything I wasn't 100% certain of. Actually..I'd just stop releasing information, and let the actual official company representatives handle it.
Knock off the attacks on my mods, please. We give you stuff as we get it. We're not sitting in some back room cackling and rubbing our hands together, going "Oh, how can we screw over the PC Users this time! Muhhahahahaah!" like some of you seem to think.

Go 2 an other developers board and learn how 2 keep a fan-base informed.
All we see is some stupid voting and such crap.
PLZ simply ask the developers WHERE IS OUR DEMO??
This ******* piece of media should have been released in AUGUST!?
If this mess is going on like this ("coming soon, coming next week, bla bla bla" and there is still no demo before retail release...) i will BUY MoH-Airborne, Enemy Territory-QuakeWars or WorldinConflict & just RENT Stranglehold.
(The Demos from the games are released WEEKS BEFORE the release of the game and allow players 2 take a look into the game BEFORE the retail release - just the way it should be (otherwise there is no need of a Demo, LOL ...)

No, it means exactly what she said. The demo was submitted.
"Submitted" is different than "released".

A spiritual sequel to John Woo's action movie Hard Boiled, Stranglehold redefines the action gaming experience with its acrobatic gunplay, thrilling cinematography, frenetic combat and massive destructibility. Last week, it was revealed that a PS3 & PC demo were coming, and while the former was indeed released, the latter wasn't. The rumors that a bug-ridden demo might not get released turns out to be unfounded, as Midway PR confirmed that it still plans to release it, "hopefully in the next week or so."
