Tequila Bombs aren't just for drinking
|
So there are 3 super moves in Stranglehold - basically smart bombs which at the same time clear out certain situations and pay off with a great homage to John Woo. Here they are:
Precision Aim - Pretty easy to understand. Time slows down drastically. You are given a zoom to pinpoint far off enemies. You can select a ton of different hit points like the face, eye, shoulder, chest, leg, knee, and even the crouch... plus a ton more. You fire a bullet and the camera follows the bullet to impact. When it impacts you get an awesome animation based on the hit point.
It's based on the "zoom" type camera trick Woo uses in Hard Boiled. Tequila shooting out the bullet in the pipe or shooting Anthony Wong through the eye at the end.
This is probably my fave of the 3 because you get to watch the damage up close.
Barrage - Shoot a ton of bullets in one concentrated direction for a short burst of time. Again time slows and you go off the deep end firing whatever is in your hand. This move causes the most damage to the enemies and the environment. We are going to have a movie showing it off on IGN tomorrow.
It's based on just about any John Woo movie. A Better Tomorrow 2 comes to mind... but so does anything you can think of
Spin Attack - Imagine you are surrounded by 5-10 enemies just plugging away at you. Trigger this move and you spin around dramtically and shoot all the enemies away and clear a certain proximity around you.
This is probably the coolest theatrical homage to Woo. Also the most powerful bomb.

in youtube theres a 5 min demo and they show the tequila bombs and everything just type in youtube and there you can search
