Hello,

I've been watching this game for a while and since you guys seem to value great feedback, I'll take this time to make a small request:

Please I beg you, DO NOT make this game an easy game. Since this whole notion of being a bad-ass is being tossed around all the time, do not make it so easy to the point where the AI becomes meaningless and lame.

I hear a lot of talk about how great the cover system is and the cool stuff you will be able to do to the enemy, but I never hear about any cool stuff the enemy can do to you. I love a game where the AI is well programmed and really gives the player a sense of being against an opponent who also wants to survive and win as well.

I have no respect for great games like Zelda because at the end, the enemies are just too dumbed down to be respected or even taken seriously and I pray that stranglehold will not suffer a similar fate. In fact, as I'm doing my cool stuff to take the enemy out, I aslo would like to see the enemy trying some cool stuff to take me out as well. So other than just worrying about shooting at that street sign that is on top of that enemy's head, I also would like to worry about him shooting first at the AC that is on top of my head.

Also, make each enemy be able to react to what happens to one of his buddies next to him. Meaning, if I drop a sign on top of one enemy and his buddy next to him survived, he should start being aware that there might be another sign that may be over his head and start running for a safer loacation.

Also, don't purposely positioned the enemies under doom's way just so I can get a "cinematic" kill. I want to earn and work for those kills.

In all honesty, a smart and tricky AI that behaves almost like a real opponent on xbox live is what makes a game worth playing.

I've played this game extensively and let me say... it is definitely not easy. We simplified the button scheme so you can feel like a bad-ass immediately but we didn't dumb down the game. We want to make sure the learning curve is quick and you feel confident after only a few minutes. After that you still need to bring the pain to the bad guys otherwise you are toast.

The AI is pretty interesting in this game. They will look for cover and other charge you when it's strategically a good idea. Additionally, we highlight some objects you can bring down on the enemy without making it too obvious. Not to mention, when you are in teh middle of a gun battle just trying to stay alive is a priority. IF you are also able to pull off some of the insane environmental kills as well then you have truly mastered the game.

You are working on the game right? thats pretty cool. Also Hel you have a point but this sums it up.

Forgot to mention there will be 4 levels of difficulty. I've been playing on Medium (default) and it's super hard. There are still two more above that. Hard and Hard Boiled. The last is only unlocked after you complete the game.
