	I never understood that but if you do some research Shaolin monks shouldn't kill.

	But real shaolin monks are Buddhist or some crap like that. These monks in Mortal Kombat believe in the Elder Gods and such. 	also, this is around MK2 so Liu is probably fed up with the tarkatas and just seems to kill to end his threats (represented by his dragon fatality in MK2) and he as well unleashed a fury on Kahn him self.
