How much control did Shaun Himmerick have over Shaolin Monks?
No offense to him, but I felt that this game really failed to deliver compared to the previous installments. Mr. Himmerick was producer for this game and he was always in the interviews answering questions. So I have a feeling that he had a large influence on creative direction.
Then I notice that for Armageddon, he wasn't producer anymore, and Armageddon did much better than Shaolin Monks.

I thought Mksm was pretty good. The fighting, effects, and gameplay really makes it stand out from the rest of the games in the series.

The gameplay was good, I admit.
But it was a rushed game.
The story was a mess, and the graphics weren't that great.
But that's my opinion, and not why I started this topic.
My question is:

MK:A was like MK:D only a bit slower and no branch combos.
MK:SM was like...a beautiful MK adventure game.
