I will most definitely be taking a break for a while now. I have been doing some speed runs for manhunt but the main thing I wanted to finish (the monkey on the back) was this project. It is a load off my mind. I am glad that I kept at least one promise by finishing it before MK vs DC was released. Later.

I am glad that I kept at least one promise by finishing it before MK vs DC was released. Later. Actually, I just have to say that I think you did pretty good for your overall timeframe. Did it actually only take you six months from concept to completion? That's awesome considering how much work it would be to BE all the characters, learning all their moves, making sure you're recording it all AND not crashing the game all at the same time. PLUS, there's all the reviewing of footage, editing, AND timing to music that would follow. I'm not surprised you took breaks from this project with other projects or some simple old-fashioned gaming just to game. You'd need to empty the mind of it every once in a while. I'm very impressed with your work here. The complexity and the thoroughness of the project is evident (to me) in the viewing. All I could think of when I watched it was how difficult -- and maybe frustrating -- it probably was to make, but the end result is interesting, enjoyable, and seemed effortless in its realization. Always a sign of good effort and editing IMO: make all the hard work seem flawless. Congrats! Now to add a little yin to the yang -- something I seem to always do, it must be my way of balancing things -- I do have one question/comment: why was this video split up into two parts? The second video seemed too short and the abrupt stopping on the first and starting on the second can take a person right out of enjoying an otherwise truly excellent piece of pseudo-cinema. I would really like to know! But other than that, truly brilliant!
