Playable on the 360?

i dont know if this has been addressed already, but i made it all the way to the final fight (shang tsung,kintaro,shao kahn)and my xbox died. i have a 360 and have been patiently waiting to play it again but its looking like its not gonna happen any time soon. has anyone heard anything? by the the time they make it playable i'll have forgotten everything.

This topic NEEDS to stay afloat. I'm another person who was reluctant to lose my original Xbox to make the upgrade to 360 (had to sell ALL of my old game equipment.. ps2, xbox, games, paddles, all of it) knowing that I wouldn't be able to enjoy particular games that I LOVED for my original Xbox, this game being amongst them. Given how much attention OTHER Mortal Kombat games have been given to play on the system. They have ULT MK3 for the marketplace, Deception. Armageddon, and now MK vs. DCU is coming. As great as they are, Shaolin Monks was one of the greatest beat 'em up games I've played. Period. As much as I'd love to, I can't figure spending $100+ for an outdated console, controllers and the game all over again.
GIVE THIS GAME THE ATTENTION IT DESERVES. Keep this thread afloat!

I was just going to ask the same question.
I find it odd that one of the more popular recent Mortal Kombat games isn't compatible with the 360. I plan on trading in my old XBOX and wii games to get a 360 next week. I'm keeping my copy of MK SM on XBOX incase they make it compatible.
Is there some sort of petition to get it reverse compatible for the 360?

If you have the game on Xbox and have an X360, why not just pop it in and see for yourself if it works?

It doesn't work...which doesn't make any sense since MKD and MKA work fine. Although, thinking of trying to find all the secrets over again on my 360 gives me a headache.

Mk Sm is not playable on the 360..
only MKd and MKA are..
If you go to official xbox website you can find gamed that are compatible with the 360..
yeah its really wierd that some work and some dont.

The death of my original xbox was a factor to getting the 360. I dont regret getting it because of the awesome games I enjoy on it, the thing is I wish Microsoft would have been smart and made all games BC. Because now I want to play MKSM. On the xbox site there should be petitions to which games we want BC. MKSM didnt really get the most votes so untill MKSM is shown some love Microsoft wont BC it. Along with MKDA!
