Yeah, but Liu saw Baraka drive a blade through the guys head. It's not like he just stabbed him in the chest and then slang him to the ground, asking him "Are you OK?" then would have been more understanding, stunned or not. I mean what if Baraka had sliced the guys head in half? Would Liu ask him "how yer feelin'"? out of reflex?
Imagine
*Baraka slices guys head and throws him towards Kung Lao and Liu Kang.
Liu Kang, !shock!  "Are you alright?...Hey buddy, are you OK?" Liu Kang kneels by the side of the poor man, "Do you think he'll be alright Kung Lao?"
Kung Lao "His head is split in two Liu, now, I am no doctor, but I think the chances of him surviving a split head is somewhat very slim, so lets just kill Baraka and take vengeance"
Liu Kang raises from the ground, "Oh! Of course he is dead. I was just shocked and out of reflex I asked him that"
Kung Lao "Yeah, course you did Liu, you was just shocked" Then under his breath "Dumb £%$#!"
