	I know I'm way later than most of you MK fan nerds but just about a month ago I had just first played MKSM. I haven't been on the boards sinse but a lot of the game doesn't make sense to me. I've already completed the game and at all the boss fights you kill the bosses. I understand that it was mainly for entertainment purposes but the actual storyline says that they really died. -Raiden "You killed Reptile. This is very good." -Kitana "Jade! She was my best friend and you killed her!" ...and after beating Kano, Jax acts as if Kano never got away andthat he was gone forever. According to MK3 pictures from MK Warehouse, all went exactly as it did then but Kano did get away and was followed by Jax and Sonya: http://www.mortalkombatwarehouse.com/mk3/story/ Just go 9 pictures down. Also, it is actually part of the story that each of those deaths counted asimpowering Shang Tsung so It doesn't look like just a quick way to get them out of the picture. They all still come back in future games though. Another thing that gets me is Kahn's death. According to MK3, Liu Kang only kicked his ass and left which pissed Kahn off and made him attack Earthrealm with unholy acts and all that shit. That might be another of those retarded non-canon deaths if you would call it that but how is Kitana in control of the realm again now? Edenia didn't seperate from Outworld until the end of MK3 and Kahn was still supposed to rule it. I am also confused at the fact that Raiden's powers sort of worked in Outworld. Last I remember, his abilities were cut offin that realm while during the game you see him pop up with his static teleport all the time and use electricity. I understand it was usually Shang Tsung but at the end when the real Raiden pops up, he starts doing that stuff. I now see why many people are calling that game non-canon. A lot of stuff didn't even happen in it that really did. Where does it show Scorpion see Sub-Zero spare another warrior which caused him to vow not to harm the younger Sub-Zero as he believed this is not the man who killed him? That wasn't even mentioned and they were still enemies through the whole thing. And why did he want to kill Liu Kang and Kung Lao? But enough talking about that. Something I noticed that the writer for Shaolin Monks may have misinterpreted was that Mileena was killed during MK2 (which she was the only boss that wasn't l0L) but Jade was killed instead and that when you fight Mileena in the Living Forest, it would've made more sense to fight Jade because she was the second character besides Smoke who appeared in that background. I mean think, Kitana vs. her best friend who is under Shao Kahn's hold. Make better sense to MK2? Just a thought... Anything I'm misinterpreting? -----signature----- Leader of the EMC. 	I think you are forgetting the fact through out the whole story Raiden never appeared in outworld exept at the very end the Foundry. Shang Tsung is the one misleading the charecters whoever it may be, if you really did complete the story mode it should be clear Shang Tsung was transformed into Raiden for the whole story thats why he could do all those things. Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks is mostly cannon and is a remake of MK2 but it's the konquest not MK3 you may although get confused in which story it is following. 	I don't think you get me. I said that the real Raiden that never appeared until the end could do that stuff. remember when you are about to fight Kahn? He static teleports to you and says ":You are being mislead! This is all a trap! That was Shang Tsung all along! I'm gay!" He used teleport and at the very very end after beating Kahn he uses electricity and does whothefuck knows what to turn Kahn into a statue.
