I can almost beat Shao Kahn but even when I long jump I can't escape his hammer spin. Is there any tricks to beat him easier?

Just run away from him. What I do is just run around the outside of the arena.

There really isn't any trick, sorry. The way I beat him was just having the mind set that when his hammer is swinging (after his helmet has been destroyed) he's the superior one, and it's in my best interest to put as much distance between me and him as humanly possible. Avoid corners, and when he starts to swing around like a top, move, fast.

You can escape the hammer spin if you long jump twice. That's what I did with Liu Kang. If you use Kung Lao, long jump once then immediately do that one attack where he stays in the air for a couple seconds - that also avoids the hammer spin.

Use projectiles to attack, when you are far away. Kintaro's head can be used as one, which does decent damage. Pick it up whenever you have the chance.
