Game percentage.

Alright, I've completed the game a couple of times now and have collected pretty much every secret this game has to offer. I've even completed my fatality lists for Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Kung Lao and Liu Kang.
Whenever I pause my game to look at my stats, I seem to have exceeded my 100% mark.
Is this normal or is this a glitch?

I think you might have to collect some more in co-op mode.
I'm not sure myself, because I haven't completed the game in its
total percentage yet.

i've got every secret i've also found out if your goro or kintaro you get extra percentage because i was goro saved because of something he couldn't do it was about 77 percent change my charecter to kung lao when i finished saved it to be goro again and the percentage whent down.

I've kind've gotten some math done as to how the percentage system works.
Alright, when you start the game for the first time, your percentage will be at .6%. Finding coins, reaching new areas, learning new fatalities, completing Smoke's missions, gaining abilities and upgrading moves will either add .6% to your percentage or .5% at certain points in the game.
Playing in ko-op mode reduces the percentage you get most of the time to .5% so as to encourages you and the other player to work together to complete tasks.
Here's an example...
If you are playing in single player mode for the first time ever and are in the first section of Goro's lair, your percent starts at...
.6%
However, if you've completed the game and have unlocked all the secret tokens from both single and ko-op modes (40.8%) and have learned one fatality (.6%), one multality (.6%) and your brutality (.6%) your beginning percentage would be...
42.6%
Now, when you enter the second area of Goro's lair, your percentage would probably be...
43.2%
