How to get to ermac?

Well, I've beaten the game, but I still want to fight Ermac, I hear he's in the place where you fight goro... but I can't remember where that is. I'm inside The Portal, so could anyone help?

He is at the warrior shrine, which is in THe Wu Shu level near the beginning.

lol he probably meant to type the "i" but acciendtly put "u" since
it was next to the keyboard.

Okay. Well I went up, tried to punc the statue, hit it with my hat, my spin, used fist of ruin, examined it, jumped on it... what gives?
And what does ermac do? does he unlock anything?

go to da far left statue press r2 3 times and da fight will start
(people say ermac is the hardest in the game, i act. found him easier than last 3 boss's and i beat him in my 1st go)

He's one of the more challenging ones to fight, but I don't know if he's the toughest.

Wu Shu is a real Martial art. Unluckily for me, I accidently saved over my single player save when me and a friend were playing KO-OP.
