I encountered this glitch just after I killed goro read on for what to do warning this containes spoilers
After Goro dies and Kung lao argues with Liu Kang, wait until Liu Kang is hit and morphs back into Shang Tsung. At the point that Shang Tsung is green from being half-morphed, skip that cut-scene and when it returns to normal game-play, your character will be invisible and only his shadow on the ground will be visible.it happened with me, it might work for you I dont know. try it
