	It is confirmed in Blaze's bio card in MKA that the guy on fire at MK2 background Pit 2 was Blaze. So it is the same place in MKSM, it is Blaze there. -----signature----- Love is a name. 	Midway couldn't use the name Torch (the fan dub), because it was being used with the Human Torch of Marvel fame. 	It's obvious that some of you never played the original Mortal Kombat II game back 13-14 years ago in the arcades or for the Sega Genesis and SNES or has Midway Arcade Treasures 2. That is Blaze fighting in the background of the Pit II against a character named Hornbuckle by fans by fans years ago (And yes, Blaze was dubbed Torch back then). Everthing that Dmr2hn1 and Bread_Baron has said already is true, so stop your whining and/or complaining and trying to convince people that it's not Blaze and some other character.
