Deception owns. It was the first and only mortal kombat that kontinues the story without just arcade mode.

well it konquest didnt continue the story, it really takes place durring the deadly alliance time line.

Then how come everybody calls MKDA mk5 and MKD mk6? thinking .
But... i do remember the intro for Deception picks up exactly where the intro for DA did

arcade mode is after deadly alliance but in konquest, You are shujinko working for damashi while the deadly alliance forms. When you beat konquest mode Onaga is resurected. And from reptiles ending in DA, you know that he is ressurected. Also i dont remember who i talked to in konquest mode in deception but they even talked about forming the deadly alliance. Arcade mode picks up from where konquest mode stops. The konquest mode in deception is just a different perspective of deadly alliance
