Lack of okizeme (wake-up game) => leads to 50/50 when you stand up. Whole game is one big 50/50 mix up like rock/paper/scissors but with 2 items; 03. Free throws. Some lead to more free throws, some lead to combos when lead to free throws again. 04. Dairou and Bo'Rai Cho are God Tiers, and Noob-Smoke is probably their Archangel, and the three (or should I say four) own the rest of cast for free. Shujinko with all special moves earned also can chain alot of hits (teleport slam + cartwheel kick + long juggles own). Noob-Smoke has unbreakable combos leading into 50/50 mixups that are all unbreakable combos. Dairou just has a 15-frame fullscreen unblockable juggle starter (which is his sidestep canceled Tombstone Drop). Bo'Rai Cho just owns with his puke. --[Separately about MKA]------------------------------------------- [?]Offline MKA definitely takes more skill than MKDA or MKD since Air and Parry Cancels are very difficult to master and use effectively. Online MKA is completely different and broken. [?]MKA fixed a lot of what made Deception frustratingly broken (most, if not all, characters had an infinite - some even several infinites). But there are still tons of exploitable moves and free throws that make the game the most broken of them all. [?]MK:A improved with 50/50's, plants and escape options however as you even know the online play is shit and that combined with the 33, AC makes the game broken in that sense(sadly) [+]Now, the gameplay has factually improved in a lot of ways from MKD's problems such as insane amount of FT's, in MKA it's not a big deal since you can parry any hit prior to the FT. [+]Parries help this game bigtime and can turn a match around at the drop of a hat as it should do in any fighting game. [+]Wake up definitely helps and allows the player to play a hell of a lot more mind games and gives the players more options as oppose to MKD where once you were in the corner, on the ground you were dead more or less with no option for escape other then guessing 50/50 correctly and if your foe nailed you with Bo, N/S ha, ha that's not happening and no chance for escape. [?]MKA is not that bad for a fighting game considering the fact that most 3D fighting games are broken in general, its nowhere near as broken as MKD, but its still broken as a fighting game all together. [-] MKA sucks.. everyone has mostly the same combos.. its stupid.. 0. 0% innovation, Ed is still playing catch up with the rest of the fighters out there. 1. Kreate-A-Fatality was the worst addition to the entire game. It is awful because there aren't many ways to go about it. Everyone does the same thing. he might as well of just given everybody a MKDA Quan Chi fatality. Not only that, it's just body part removing fatalities. Nothing creative at all. It was so pathetic I hope it never returns. 3. Everyone only has one style and one weapon(many that have simply be recycled from the previous games and just given to characters that are new. One less fighting style, WHY? you've got GIGS of space to play with, yet you stiff us by TAKING STUFF OUT?! ok so not everyone's going to have all unique fighting styles, but SO WHAT? like theres ONLY ONE MAN ON PLANET WHO KNOWS KUNG-FU? (and I realise there are certain diciplines of martial arts that a select few people know but each character should have 1 unique fighting style, one shared fighting style (that maybe 4 or 5 others have) and a weapon style, see? not difficult.) 4. You can play as bosses right off the bat. 5. Konquest mode was just a dumbed down Shaolin Monks (then again didn't expect much from it). Ending sucked, just felt tacked-on. 6. Kombat Kart racing was just a useless mini game. 7. Kreate a Kharacter online which is really unfair unless you have one better. I think you all know that one can just slap all best attacks on his KAK and do 590-hit combos, and there is no way to prohibit use of KAK's online. Most people online just like to pick their KAK and just win like that, or just pick a really cheap character like Sareena. Its really dissapointing. 8. No closure. In inteviews boon said (and i'm paraphrasing) "almost EVERY character will get closure, either by dying or settling scores." 9. NO BIOS! no info on how EVERY SKILLED FIGHTER IN THE WORLD ENDED UP IN ONE CRATER IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE?! not one tidbit? no. raiden did it. that'll do. 10. NO ENDING THEATRE. how hard is it to save A TINY FLAG SAYING WEATHER AN ENDING HAS BEEN UNLOCKED OR NOT? 11. Parries? What for? Nothing is safe and you can punish on block anyway. No frame advantage or hit properties. AGAIN. 12. This game could have easily been made with 4 buttons instead of 7. 13. Do mid hits even matter? 14. The jumpkick game has horrible collision detection. 15. Still no rushdown or any kind of advancing game at all. 16. No throw escapes? 17. Whole cast cant juggle or throw bosses, but bosses can juggle and throw each other and the whole cast. Balance flies in the window (again) [-]Air Cancels rarely work online due to lag issues affecting the timing, but but there is a substitution for them. It's an online-only aerial Off-The-Ground (OTG that can be done on ANY kind of connection. It can lead into infinite combos or it can be simply used as a tool for more damage just like the ordinary aerial cancels. [-]That's not all,though.Another glitch allows you to freeze your opponent entirely for the whole fucking round from a single throw (a la Ashrah's throw/over-head fireball "freeze" glitch on MKD online).Works online with a 1-2 star connection very,very easily.
