Noob-Smoke side story

In arcade mode you go up Brokeback Mountain fighting your way to Onaga, along the way you got Noob-Smoke, the lovers.
They fight together and love together. Noob likes to do it Monkey Style and smoke always enjoys a cigarette afterwards.
Do you think this is what Ed had in mind??
