my top 5 faves in no particular order:
Scorpion - i luv his kostume and his moves, especially the Spear!
Sub-Zero - i luv his kostume and i would luv to be able to kontrol ice
Ermac - he looks kool and .. just imagine... u had psychic powers...
Rain - always loved him, dnt even no why
Noob Saibot - i luv the kolour of his kostume and the fact that hes a wraith.

1#sub zero- he is my fav and number one character, he has kori powers and the best costumes and story IMO
2#noob-smoke- i love it how they had a tag team in deception they both have great storys and neat costumes
3#Jax- his attitude fighting style and cos are all awesome
4#ermac- he had a differant look to the conventional ninja and cool powers
5#scorpion- the original hell spawn and nice costumes and fighting style

1.Scorpion:Looks awesome and besides...GET OVER HERE.
2.Raiden:God of thunder and a former elder god
3.Shinnok:Probably could of been the best bosses in history of MK since being a former elder god,but he was to easy
4:Shoa Kahn: The emporer of outworld and was really suprising in MK 2 when i heard he was shang tsung's master i was like 'W0W' MK 1's boss has a master,And also can make a hammer appear out of no where
5.SeXtor:Atcually sektor but sextor sounds better,And because he can shoot missiles and homing missiles

1. Shujinko- several good specials
2. Scorpion- the spear and always a personal favorite, plus his neck snap fatality is hilarious
3. Havik- awesome moves, totally nuts character
4. Mileena- great alt, neck bite fatality is awesome
5. Liu Kang- good basic moves, specials, and combos
