Well it's a Glitch in the Process,if you've gotten to Cinnibar Island (The Land where the 7th Gym Leader is)and you have a Pokemon that knows Fly (Best suited for a Level 60 Zapdos,helped me a LOT)your in for a Treat.
To see Missingno Do the Following:

1.Fly to Viridian City

2.Talk to the Old man who was Blocking your way.

3.He'll ask if you're in a hurry,say no.

4.Let him do his demonstration on how to catch PKMN.

5.Fly back onto Cinnibar Island and (Sorry,I was too busy drawing,also make sure you have a Pokemon that knows surf)SURF on th EAST coast where there is Half land,Half water,surf up and down until you get in a battle,if the screen goes black for 3 sec.,you'll see a WEIRD looking thing that is either level 0,or 174. If you see the weird thing,the cry is like Zapdos,and his name is "M",That is the Level 0 Missingno.If you see the Weird thing,the cry is like Rattata,and his name is Missingno,Bring your Big guns,because this is the lv.174 Missingno. Feel Free to kill either one,they wont be gone,or you can feel free to catch it but DO NOT SAVE AFTER YOU HAVE CAUGHT IT,IT WILL RUIN YOUR GAME!!!!
After you catch the LV.174 Missingno,go to Pokemon on your menu screen,Missingno will switch between a man and a cuopla Buttcheeks with a Smile in the middle if go to him,go to his stats and he will have the cry of Rhydon,and will be Invisible,his type is Bird and Normal (BIRD??).look at his attack power....FIVE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FREAKIN' PERCENT!!!!!
...and his defense is 25. His attacks are2 Waterguns and 1 Sky attack.
If you caught it,and you already beat the Elite Four,Plus your last encounter with Gary (The Final Battle),Your PKMN League HALL OF FAME will be AAAALLLLL GLITCHED OUT.I even saw a MEW! oh if you see an invisible bird pokemon on it,THAT'S MISSINGNO!
Besides Missingno,you may find a Lv.164 Squirtle if you picked Charmander as your Starter,but Squirtles level goes down to 100 when you catch it.

Oh,PS. if you kill or run away from M or Missingno,your sixth item wil be multiplied,I say make your sixth item rare candy,and if you see symbols next to the 1st digit,it just means that it's been multiplied,use it up a lot and it should go to x99.
